Village Government
The Village of Rochester is managed by an elected non-partisan Board of seven
members:
one president and six trustees. In Wisconsin's Village form of
government, officials are elected "at large". Any qualified elector of the
municipality is able to run for any seat. Nominations for those seats are
done at Caucus, an open meeting held just for that purpose. Caucus is held in
January, with successful nominees appearing on the April election ballot.
In odd years, the President and three trustees are up for election. In
even years, the other three trustees are up for election. Terms are for
two years.
Most administrative functions of the Village are performed by an appointed
Clerk-Treasurer, who maintains an office in the Municipal Building.
This is where information on public services and public records can be found.
Maps are available detailing:
- Parcel dimensions and locations
- Zoning designations
- Floodplain data

The Village's ordinances and zoning code, minutes of Board meetings and
municipal service contracts are also available for inspection.
For information on property assessment records, such as year-built, square
